This position requires the incumbent to be an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. The incumbent is responsible for providing lactation management services to expectant and breastfeeding families both in the immediate hospital and outpatient setting. The incumbent will provide educational in-services for staff members and instruction for pregnant and new families to insure consistent, accurate, quality knowledge based breastfeeding information.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Certified by the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants, required.
Minimum of three years of experience in counseling breastfeeding mothers, preferred.
Current CPR Certification required.
Salary Range: Minimum 34.48/hour - Maximum 56.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
