We are on a mission to empower individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to thrive in their communities, and we’re looking for a passionate, skilled, and motivated Psychological Assistant to join our team. • Current registration as a Psychological Assistant with the California Board of Psychology (or eligibility prior to start date).
  • Foundational training in psychological assessment and familiarity with diverse testing measures.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with IDD and ASD, and their families.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, client-centered environment.
  • Prior experience working with IDD/ASD populations (practicum, postdoc, or professional) is strongly preferred.

Experience
Preferred candidates will possess the following skills or experiences:

  • Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Experience in addiction counseling or clinical counseling settings.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
  • Background in behavioral health or mental health counseling.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:
