ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DESIRED OUTCOMES:

• Answer telephones, transfer calls, disseminate information and take messages as necessary.
• Greet and assist visitors/applicants as they come in to the office.
• Perform typing duties as assigned.
• Office/clerical duties for various Departments as assigned or directed.
• Distribute mail and interoffice correspondence daily.
• Prepare outgoing mail to be taken to post office daily.
• Assist with various duties in Human Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess physical, mental, and emotional ability necessary to perform essential job functions.
• Possess physical ability to: sit, stoop, stand, pull, hear, see, kneel, walk, grasp, reach, push, talk, and lift at least 30 lbs.
• Ability to perform fine motor skills and repetitive motions involved in typing/data entry.
• Possess ability to learn, independently assess situations, problem solve, and respond tactfully, appropriately and safely to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
• Demonstrate mathematical and language literacy skills that show ability to communicate, understand, give or follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instruction, write information, and request assistance.

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related experience including knowledge, skill, training or other relevant experience in basic reception and clerical skills.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with and under the direction and supervision of a variety of persons including coordination staff, vendors, consumers, etc.
• Pass a WI Department of Justice Criminal Record Check and/or state of origin.
